Place the announcement form
(Let's
Play Paintball) in a prominent location. Be sure
to fill out the proposed game date and time, as well as your name and phone
number. (Check with Safari Ridge for available dates. We will tentatively book
your game date and hold it for you as long as possible until it can be
confirmed)
Place a
sign up sheet
next to the announcement form or, if
that is not practical, somewhere that is convenient for everyone in your
group. If you need more detail in your sign up sheet, one column is left blank
so you can fill in your own heading such as: team, division, department,
etc...
Keep a separate copy of the sign up sheet to record the names
of each person who has paid their admission fee and/or deposit.
We suggest that you collect a $5.00-$10.00 deposit from each
player that signs up. This small commitment will help to ensure that you will
have enough players to make your party a fun event.
Once you have collected enough deposits to make your party a
success and/or the minimum number of deposits necessary to book your game
($200.00 for outside regular hours of
operation) call Safari Ridge to confirm your play date. You may continue to add
players to your group right up until the day of your game provided there is
still space available. Call Safari Ridge to confirm your extra players as they
sign up.
All players must sign a waiver form. For players under 18
years of age a parent or guardian must sign their
waiver. A copy of our waiver
is included in this package, you may photocopy it to hand out to players prior
to game day or they may sign them on game day prior to playing. Having them
filled out and signed beforehand speeds up the registration process on game
day.
Tell players to arrive 15 minutes before scheduled
game time, this allows for late comers. Directions to the field:
from Kelowna - go across the floating bridge on Hwy 97s, turn
right at 2nd traffic light (about 4km up from bridge. Watch for Friends Pub/Esso
gas station on left hand side of highway (Boucherie Rd), we’re on the
opposite side of the highway (Horizon Dr.E). Turn at the second driveway - can’t
miss it!
from Penticton - stay
on Hwy 97 en route to Kelowna. We are located 2 traffic lights before the
floating bridge that leads into Kelowna. Watch for Friends Pub/Esso gas station
on the right hand side of the highway (Boucherie Rd.) we’re directly across
the highway on the left hand side (Horizon Dr. E) There is a left turn
lane at light. Turn at the second drive way - can’t miss it!
Games are played rain or shine.
For games that require advanced deposit; deposits are non-refundable within 48
hours of play date.
To complete your party, choose one
of our BBQ Party Packs or we have a BBQ area that you may
use, it's only $10.
This area must be booked in advance so as not to conflict with other parties.
We provide the equipment: a large BBQ, propane, cooking utensils, tables and
chairs. You bring everything else...food, condiments, cutlery, etc.. There is
a small concession at the field that sells canned pop, chips and chocolate
bars.
There is an outdoor viewing area
for non-players in the group.
