Player Release and Agreement
For good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged,
the undersigned hereby agrees as follows.
I agree to play paintball and/or laser tag
at my own risk.
I am aware that Safari Ridge paintball and laser
tag is
a physically strenuous game. I understand that
the playing field is a wilderness area that is largely in it’s natural state
and that during the course of the game players are required to scramble over
loose rocks, fallen trees, branches, etc., as well as man made obstacles,
and that the risk of injury to myself and others from these factors, from
the equipment, and from other players is heightened accordingly. I declare
that I am physically fit and mentally able to withstand the strain of
exertion involved in this game. I undertake to play Safari Ridge paintball
and laser tag only in accordance with the safety instruction, rules and
guidelines as set out herein and as may from time to time be imposed by
Safari Ridge staff, administrators and assigns.
Basic Safety Rules
* Goggles shall be worn at all times on or
near the playing field or firing range.
* Firing paintball markers at any person who is not wearing goggles is
strictly prohibited.
* Marking guns shall not be pointed at or near any person except during the
course of the game.
* Players shall stay within the playing field boundaries at all times while
carrying a marking or laser gun.
* Firing outside of the playing field or inside the designated player area
is strictly prohibited.
* Any player who leaves the playing field shall immediately insert the
barrel plug/bag and engage the safety on the paintball marking gun.
All players will respect and
obey all rules and safety instructions from Safari Ridge Adventure Park
staff.
* I have read carefully and
agree to obey the Basic Safety Rules and to further use the rental equipment
so as not to injure other players.
I agree that my right to play the game and use the rental equipment may be
terminated without refund if I fail to follow such Safety Instructions and
Rules.
* I accept full responsibility for return of all equipment in good
condition or to pay replacement cost upon termination of the game.
* I, on behalf of myself, my estate, heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns do hereby indemnify the owners of Safari Ridge
Adventure Park (Kelowna) Ltd., their suppliers, the property owners, and
their respective agents, officers and employees from any and all claims,
actions, lawsuits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and/or liabilities
whatsoever connected with, or resulting from playing Safari Ridge Adventure
Park and/or from the use of equipment or premises whether resulting from the
negligence of any party or otherwise. I further agree to indemnify the same
said parties against any and all liabilities that may arise between myself
and a third party.
* I have read and fully understand this Player Release and
Agreement and recognize that it is legally binding. Please retain this
agreement in your files as it will remain legally binding and in full force
and effect with regard to any Safari Ridge paintball games or laser tag in
which I and/or the above named players choose to participate, now or in the
future, until such time as you are formally notified by me, in writing, to
cancel this agreement.
* I declare that I am at least 18 years of age and in good mental
and physical health (or, I am the legal guardian of the above named player(s)
and am signing on behalf of myself and/or the above named player(s).)
