NOTICE
ALL PLAYERS
Personal Paintball Equipment

All Safari Ridge Adventure Park rental paintball guns are set to fire at a velocity of 260 - 275 feet per second (fps). Players wishing to use their own paintball guns are required to set their equipment to that same velocity. Any player found to be re-setting their gun to a higher velocity may be banned from play at this field!

Any player who suspects that another player has reset their gun to a higher velocity should report the incident to a Safari Ridge staff member. Keep in mind, however, that how much a paintball impact may hurt depends on many factors including, relative humidity on the day of play, angle of impact, location of impact, proximity to target, etc. Further, "high end" paintball guns are designed to shoot farther and straighter, without increasing velocity, so they can sometimes appear to be shooting at a higher velocity even though they are not. The fact that many paintball guns feature simple thumb screw adjustments which allow players to discreetly vary their velocity settings makes the policing of our velocity requirement virtually impossible for personal equipment. If you are concerned that another player may be demonstrating this unsportsmanlike conduct, your best alternative may be to simply not play with them. In such case, tell a Safari Ridge staff member that your group would prefer to play by themselves. We feature Private Games for any size group every day.

Players wishing to use their own equipment should take note that you are not guaranteed admission into every, or any, game with other players who are equipped with rental guns. If you want to ensure adequate play time for yourself you should be prepared to;
           a)  make arrangements ahead of your play date to play with other paintball players who have their own equipment, or,
           b)  be prepared to rent Safari Ridge rental guns if you wish to join some group games (keep in mind, however, that not all groups are willing to accept other players into their games, regardless of the equipment used).

For those players using C02 - please note that we no longer fill C02 tanks but we will, however, swap out your C02 for a compressed air tank for you to use for the day for the same price as All Day Air.
